Magic Pill
I first purchased it a year ago, mainly because of Gilbert’s Syndrome. But from all the supplements I had tried by that time, this was definitely the first one to really break my fatigue and boost my cognitive function, so I could finally function as a normal human being again. I first started with one pill a day for a week, then increased to 2 and really started to feel these benefits. I added good quality (already methylated) B vitamins and lowered back to one a day. After a few months I could quit it and still would feel good for a couple of months. I rebuy SAMe from time to time when I again start to feel too fatigued. I always start with 2 pills (one @morning and one @evening) and then I can lower again to only 1 @morning (+methylated B vits)Had to Double the Dose
I have been taking this for quite some time now. I have to take medication that includes a side effect of depression. As I am opposed to mood altering drugs, my doctor suggested SAMe. I gave it a try, at first it did not help. So, in desperation I doubled the dose and found that it greatly helped. I gave it a 3-star rating because I am disappointed that I had to double the dose for any benefit, and it is quite expensive - although, comparatively speaking, this particular brand works out to be less expensive than the rest.
