The one-time use makes it hygienic to use. Use this first, wait a bit then suck out the child's mucus with a snot sucker. My 18 month old cried and struggled a lot when we administer the drops, afterwards he feels better. Have to repeat because kids are too young for some meds and this just deals with the symptoms.

I like using saline drops for my kids' stuffy noses. When I was looking for a bottle to put in our "emergency" backpack that we take everywhere (changes of clothes, meds, etc.), I found these individual use drops, which eliminates the need for cleaning a bottle nozzle when we are out and about.
