I bought this brand because it did not have all the additives the others had, and it had vegetarian capsules. R-Lipoic Acid is part of my supplement regime each day. Its a powerful antioxidant and as we age we need it more. This brand is the only one I could find with no harmful fillers on iherb. It's unfortunately only 50mg but you can increase the dosage if need be. I believe this is a great supplement for reducing inflammation in the body and supporting good health. I only wish it was made in 100mg or higher.
